Come election day, what are you going to do? Vote? Not vote? What do you advocate others do?
I will probably vote Gary Johnson (as my state won’t count a write-in for Ron Paul). But I could also see myself not voting. I advocate people close to me to vote Paul, Johnson, another third-party, or not at all.
But I don’t think it matters a whole lot. How about you?

When someone says election day, this what I think of (Gangs of New York). It’s the scene where the gang headed by Bill the Butcher round up a bunch of people and begin stuffing the ballot boxes for local elections in the Five Points.
I’m probably going to play the “no consent” -not vote- card and post a video on facebook of how Romney and Obama are no different from each other.
I honestly have no clue, that’s really the reason I created this thread. I’d write in Ron Paul, but he isn’t even enthusiastic about getting in the White House after he was cheated out of the Republican nomination, and besides, a write-in wouldn’t count, I don’t think. Gary Johnson’s alright, but he’s more libertarian-leaning than anything else, as he supports humanitarian wars and doesn’t want to end the Fed, he wants to audit it. (Libertarian Party really needs to start picking more libertarian candidates. RJ Harris was the better choice, I thought.)
Since I don’t really believe in government altogether, I feel like doing things the agorist way. Problem with that is, I feel like I’m just standing by, like I’m not using all of my resources to contribute to taking away some of the hate that is directed towards the USA by putting in the right guy who will make the right choices. (After we get a libertarian president, then we can start to really focus on absolute voluntaryism).
So all in all, I’m torn. That’s why I want to hear from people on this forum about what they recommend doing, because one minute I’m thinking about writing in Paul, the next minute I’m thinking about voting for Johnson, and the next minute I’m thinking about being a true agorist and practicing nonvoting. Plus, the other third-party candidates aren’t too splendid from what I’ve seen. (Rocky Anderson? wat?)
Honestly, I’d say don’t vote. I say support Gary Johnson until then in the hopes that he can get into the debates at some point and show a different direction, despite his flaws (I heard a while ago that he said he would read Economics in One Lesson and For a New Liberty, any word on if he has).
Yeah, see that’s the thing. He doesn’t know that much about the specifics of libertarianism, which can lead to screw-ups in the future that leads to the way things are right now.
