Hey guys I have been questioned about Enron lately. Does anyone know if they were given special treatment by the government? I had heard that Enron enjoyed the luxury of the government keeping out competition. Also with the Enron guys deliberatley cutting off power too make it more expensive, is this an example of market failure and manipulation?
Enron had a whole team of employees whose only job was to find loopholes to exploit in government regulation.
