Excellent video. This is exactly what is so difficult to get through to socialist or “progressive”-minded people. They get completely absorbed in their own abstract thinking where anyone who owns a business sits on a stash of millions while exploiting the working class. They will not listen to anything contrary and have no understanding as to what creates jobs.
This reminds me of a discussion I once had with a friend over CEO pay. It led me to do some math and then confront him with the following:
According to some website that monitors CEO pay face palm the CEO of Walmart made something like $38 million a year. Walmart employs about 2 million people globally. So…if we were to eliminate his salary and redistribute the money to all other workers it comes out to an extra $19 per year per employee, or just less than a penny per hour.
When I offered this up he replied, “fair is fair.” But then, I asked, who would be the CEO?! I just shook my head…I call that willful ignorance.
Interesting calculation. Many of the companies that have very high bonuses are those that participate in bubble sectors… bubbles created by central banks.
