Example of an economic deduction made from the axiom of action?

To help further my understanding of their methodology, I feel like I need an example of a deduction from the action axiom. It’s just how my brain works I guess (John Gatto on the failures of public education anyone?).

For example, when I was learning about a priori I came up with “three feet in a yard” to help myself understand it more. I can’t seem to do something like this (deduce from action) to understand more.
