“Yeah, it’s ye olde give people hope and then direct them to an e-commerce website.”
Then its a good thing the FDA did what it did. It protected people. So, the FDA is very helpful after all, that’s a relief.

I bet the kids get real excited when thanksgiving is at your house.
Just because the government screws up medical industries does not mean that this guy was not a fraud. What is with the medical and food conspiracy nuts? I see this nonsense all the time on LRC.
“The opposite of what the government says must be true!”
He obviously invented the story about his dad. An M.D. working at Exxon? Lmao. Brb. Going to medical school for 4 years so I can work at Exxon not using any of the skills and maknig a fraction as much money as a GP.
Large companies have staff doctors, particularly when they work remote sites. This is not exceptional that his father worked for Exxon. Exxon and others also employ pastors.
They don’t employ them to develop saranwrap or whatever it was. Talk about overqualified…
I was reading his website and found this.
“Dr. G: In my opinion, Ester-C is a cheap form of vitamin C which uses some cheap ingredients, as well as possiby a few fillers. I personally would typically stay away from it, if at all possible (mag. sterate). As an alternative, I would suggest you take a full spectrum multivitamin, such as IntraMax, or any vitamin that is organic and tested to be effective.”
So, taking a form of vitamin C that stays in the body much longer is “cheap”. Solution: buy that $80 bottle from his store.
People tossing around the word ‘natural’ is bad enough, as it reflects a mystical pre-critical view of reality where humans and technology are not products of nature but it really irks me the way these hucksters use the word ‘organic’. ‘Organic’ denotes a kind of chemical, many of which are poisonous. But, more to the point, synthetically produced sugar is still 100% organic because it contains carbon and is not an allotrope or oxide thereof. Hell, Tungsten Carbide is considered organic…
“naturalnews.com” apparently also promotes convicted felon Kevin Trudeau’s book.
That’s awesome. I remember that guy’s infomercials.
Why would the FDA shut them him and others like him down?
To serve the interests of the pharmaceutical lobby, which is dominated by the Rockefeller dynasty.
Libertarians, it goes beyond incompetence. they are good at keeping what they want down. Facts don’t lie.
Agreed. It all started with the AMA, the Flexner Report, and the “reform” of America’s medical schools to protect us from evil chiropractors, homeopathic doctors, and other “quacks.” This geared the country toward xenobiotic medicine and assured drug companies a steady income. Now the FDA approves carcinogens (radiation and chemotherapy) as “safe and effective” at treating cancer, and threatens the livelihood of anyone attempting to abide by the Hippocratic Oath:
I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.
I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan.
People tossing around the word ‘natural’ is bad enough
The word “natural” provides a way to distinguish between substances which are normally present in the body, and substances which are not. For example, vitamin D is a hormone normally produced by the human body, so a vitamin D supplement may be considered natural. Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) is a drug that is not normally present in the human body, so it may be considered unnatural, or xenobiotic.

Most of those people are quacks. Look, the government messes up the medical industry. You know what that means? Medical technology sucks. It doesn’t mean there is a cheap and easy secret pharmaceutical alternative. That’s just like these whackos who claim that there is some super efficient hydrogen engine but the oil companies are covering it up. No. Even if such an engine is possible and safe it just doesn’t exist because the power and automobile industries are hyper-regulated. It’s not suppressed, it’s not secret, and it’s not cheap. it’s nonexistent.
Also, lol@Rockefellers controlling things. You’re a century too late.
beyond that…there are protocols that have cured plenty of people of cancer…including stage 4 cancer, where oncologists would tell them they have a few months to live. certain types of foods and plants, nutrients that have worked better for certain types of cancer.
I see a doctor (not for cancer) who cures “hopeless” cancer patients using Orthomolecular medicine, as conceptualized by the biochemist Linus Pauling. He treats food and environmental allergies, and provides exact-dose therapy using a testing method called Elecrodermal titration (which works kind of like this).
believe it or not…many poeple would rather be treated and cured by these methods instead of having cancer and THEN BEING poisoned by chemotherapy (which was developed as a derivitive from mustard gas). their body is then destroyed even further. sure, alot of the cancer cells may die, but the root problem is not addressed. And the patient often times dies from the poison.
Exactly. And if the patient survives for a few years after chemotherapy or radiation, they are considered “cured.” When the cancer reappears with a vengeance after the body has been weakened, it’s considered a new case. Surgery isn’t much better, as the stress from the removal of a large tumor in one place often causes many smaller tumors to appear in other places.
we will look back at the government enforced cancer treatments as the dark ages.
Well said.
government enforced cancer treatments as the dark ages.
Uh, nobody forces you to get a cancer treatment.
Most of those people are quacks.
Okay, but at least the homeopaths back then were giving people tiny doses of harmless herbs, not injecting them with mercury.
Look, the government messes up the medical industry. You know what that means? Medical technology sucks.
Sure, that’s one effect of government intervention. Another effect is the promotion of drug-based medicine at the expense of medicine that actually works.
Also, lol@Rockefellers controlling things. You’re a century too late.
So you agree that the Rockefellers controlled things a century ago when they funded the reform of America’s medical schools?
Okay, but at least the homeopaths back then were giving people tiny doses of harmless herbs, not injecting them with mercury.
Eh. I think people overspend on medicine and are too apt to try new/experimental procedures, but I am really not bothered by trace amounts of mercury. It does its work. Don’t tell me you’re one of those vaccine autism people?

While they might distort the market, drug based medicine does (often times) work. I have used enough of them to know.
So you agree that the Rockefellers controlled things a century ago when they funded the reform of America’s medical schools?
They had a half-way plutocracy between themselves and the Morgan crowd; though the other half was still typical Progressive whackjobs and politicians.
Uh, nobody forces you to get a cancer treatment.
The government does occasionally force people to get cancer treatment. The case of Daniel Hauser is a recent example.
Don’t tell me you’re one of those vaccine autism people?
I’m definitely skeptical of any chemical the government forces on the masses - mercury, flouride, and so on. But I haven’t done enough research to have an opinion on vaccines and autism.
I have entertained the notion that HIV was created by the WHO and tested on Africans by injecting them with polio vaccines contaminated with the virus.

That doesn’t mean wacky impossible conspiracies are on the table. Those sorts of things are just not sociologically possible. If they were we’d still be living in the thrall of King Xerxes or something.
I have entertained the notion that HIV was created by the WHO and tested on Africans by injecting them with polio vaccines contaminated with the virus.
That’s 1) crazy and pointless and 2) not supportable by RNA studies. HIV shows no signs of having been artificially built.
