Make that $1,200 Billion of new money.
$300,000,000,000 of it goes to the long bond.
$100,000,000,000 for Fannie & Freddie and
$750,000,000,000 for Mortgage Securities.
Where’s the other $50,000,000,000? Maybe just rounding off the change.
Got your gold yet?
Here they say it’s $1,450 Billion
I do not think this will start hyper inflation yet… The Fed is giving these institutions money to clean up there balance sheets so they look better financially than they really are. I do not think the hyper inflation will begin until these institutions are doing “better”. I think we need to wait for all out panic in the streets, for people to beg the state to force the banks and other institutions to lend money practically for free to anyone. I think it is close, like maybe October. Call it Red October.
Bloody Red.
I think the hyperinflation here in the US may be triggered from money flowing back here because people abroad no longer want it. The money flowing back here cannot be controlled by the Fed. Need to wait for people to say the economy has “recovered” and good times are back. That should be one way to tell. Just before hyperinflation begins people will be fooled.
Hyperinflation starts when people figure out that they can borrow money and buy any asset and the money will depreciate the debt to nothing, meaning that they can borrow limitless amounts of money.
