John James thanks for the feedback much appreciated I like your idea about the labels on the time line controls itself and something I will definitely do. I think I got what you meant about the vertical view, it could work, I’m just worried it might be too much content for one page and people get scared when they see a mountain of information. I also thought about a resoruces page, I wanted to make a reading list, a section for more videos that give overviews/summaries of the whole thing like a recap and perhaps a definitions section.
Ricky James Moore II, I used this data: http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2/series/REALLN .. This is the same dataset that I saw used in other Mises dailies so I figured it was safe to use. Do you know where else I could get these numbers but inflation adjusted? If you are unsure, no problem I will attempt to find it.

They might already be inflation adjusted, then Check out the description of methods for the data to see.
Oh yeah, I didn’t mean on the same page…I just meant a link to a different page that displayed the timeline in a different orientation. (Or if you ended up having the whole thing in a java applet or something, it could just switch the view).
Yeah those are really great actually. I had totally forgotten about the Bailout Reader. Some of the ones I linked to were actually on that list, but yeah, you can easily find many others by doing a search on the main page for “housing bubble articles”
Hey guys I’m back again with an update. I think I am finally at a point where I have covered all the big events and issues regarding the housing bubble. I’m sure there is plenty more I could include but I think I have hit a point where I included all the major things and anything else I add to it could make it too long. I want to keep it short enough so that everything is covered before your attention span drops off:

I decided to use Walter Block’s article: “Austrian Thymologists Who Predicted the Housing Bubble” thanking all the Austrians for their predictions of the housing bubble as the exit text at the end of the timeline. Hopefully this will attract a lot of attention to the Austrian school for those who stumble upon the site.
