I’m currently attending a Philosophy of Science course, and one of the philosophers that’s mentioned is Paul Feyerabend. What is the austrian take on him? He actually sounds very convincing and his scientific anarchism looks really compatible with austrian economics, the haykian knowledge problem.

Too bad he says that political anarchism isn’t the most attractive political theory.

I think you’d enjoy this article by Barry Smith. He discussed Feyerabend for a paragraph or so, and dismisses anarchy of knowledge as incompatible with the epistemology that leads austrians to believe in a priori structures.

Hmm, I think you’re right. I only read one article in which he doesn’t say that truth is relative and that concepts like “reality” are useless.

But what I did like is that he says that for science it is good to encourage other models cause sometimes the status quo method isn’t compatible for finding the truth.
