In regards to debating with friends, you should never be afraid to do this and I recommend it so long as you can keep your emotions in check and not piss them off by calling them statists or the U.S. military murderers. Present your argument and try to support it. If you cannot convince them it would be due to your argument not being convincing, unsupported or flawed. Rethink your argument and try to find better evidence to support your position.

In an anarcho-capitalist society why would someone who does not have property bordering another state pay for military insurance?
Why would military insurance companies not charge more for property owners living next to bordering states?
Why would an insurance company waste money on military resources defending an insurer when it would be more cost effective to let the insurer get killed than try to repel the invading army? In essence collect premiums until an attack and then just leave, If the policyholder is dead you don’t have to pay anything out in claims. The insurance company has the military so who is going to stop them?
What happens if there is a computer problem (payment lost or disputed) with my electronic military insurance monthly payment, my property is under attack preventing me from bringing in income and I cannot make another monthly payment in full?
Why would there be “time” for bad defense insurance companies to fail and better ones to survive? If they fail and the anarchist state is taken over, you don’t get a second try.

If an insurance company were to do that, no individual would anymore trust them. I am sure that you are, at the least, intelligent enough to realize that if a business were to not have any clients, they would cease to be a relevant business.
Fire insurance companies charge more the farther you are from a fire station, insurance companies charge more for life insurance if you’re a smoker. Are you also against that?

Look around you Poptech, how many insurance companies do you see in business who have, even one time, blatantly cheated large amounts of people out of business?
Uhhhhh…if you made the payment, and the insurance company lost it, why would you have to pay again?
