You would think Ron Paul’s “lets not kill everyone” policy would be enough of a reason for people to want for vote for him. Worship of war from americans is the only thing in his way
I think it would be a good strategy in the short-term, but I wonder how going on the attack (the latest ad) will play in the next debate? It is going to be hosted by Fox News, so it will surely be hostile towards Ron Paul with Paul gaining momentum lately in Iowa. They will most certainly bring this ad up, and usually it is a bit tough to come off well when you accuse someone of corruption to their face. Ron Paul is certainly correct in pointing out that Newt is a slimeball, but most conservatives are under the impression that these public servants are benign and give them the benefit of the doubt more often than not.
I think most conservatives are worried about social issues and Paul seems too “do-whatever-you-want” to appeal to them. Of course, Gingrich is hardly a better choice.
Are there any stats about how gov. morality regulations back-fire in the same way that economic ones do? If you could do the same argument with morality that Libertarians make about economics then I think Paul would get significant more backing.
Praxeologically morality is the same as economics too so a speculative argument is certainly not wanting, but empirical confirmation is.

Now, yes, some of these sections are a total joke (e.g. the first one, sadly enough). It gave a horrible first impression and almost made me discredit the whole list…but this thing is pretty extensive, and as you can see there are links for ever answer. Have a looksee. This could definitely prove useful if you come across someone who’s a fan of a particular statist and you need to have some proof on a particular issue…

My prediction is that if Perry doesn’t fare well in the Iowa caucuses he will begin to reconsider his presidential campaign.
