So he’s supposed to be politicking right, which means slandering against the opponent and not trying to “advertise” for him, at least that’s how most politicians are in the U.S.? Like try to make Ron P. look bad or something. He is running against him correct? [:P]
The Dems don’t usually run a candidate against Ron Paul because he outflanks them by being a paleocon instead of a neocon.
Chris Peden got some “help” to slander Paul last year. I don’t know if this guy Jeff Cherry will get “help” to conduct what will basically be mission impossible and another slander campaign. I learned during the Ron Paul Presidential Bid how important it is to have a sophisticated campaign, including get out the vote operations, on election day.
What’s sorta sad is that this guy is obviously an amateur and his campaign seems poorly conceived. If he doesn’t get help from the GOP establishment or special interests, then he’ll be lucky to pull 15%. Everyone who campaigns against RP goes in with the notion that people don’t know what RP really stands for. The problem is that many people do know what he stands for, and they like it. Neocons keep beating this drum that no one wants to dance to.
I think people underestimate Ron Paul big time, they don’t realise the following he has on the internet, and unlike most other politicans Ron Paul has more than few ideologues in his camp. RP followers tend to be relatively well educated, organized and intelligent.
If he’d done his research he would have known that those people over at the Mises Institute named the place after somebody who thought race is a possible explanation for various differences between people (say, intelligence), subsequently the institute has had scholars who believe that people would, if not forced otherwise by the state, segregate themselves into culturally homogenous communities (Hoppe, Rothbard). Also, there are some who believe that differences in the pay between males and females is not due to discrimination (Block), some other people associated with the LvMI have been accused of homophobic comments (Hoppe, again). The place is highly populated with people who dispute the dangers of global warming, and who dislike the state of Isreal jews.
A hahahahaha! Thanks for the laughs. As pointed out on the LRC blog, this idiot had to cut and paste the word “marijuana” because he didn’t know how to spell it!
