I think it is ok to share the cost of healthcare and education among all.
Makert is not a 100% provider since for a market to exist both “will and able” have to be present at the same time for buyers and sellers. Govt is the only best solution left.
That’s nice, but the government does not let you choose. Someone else gets to choose.
I ask again, do you think it is OK for someone to take your money without your consent and spend it on goods and services you do not want?
It is a simple yes or no question.
Then you do so without violence and contradictory unspoken premises that others must do the same as you.
The market doesn’t do anything in the first place, it’s a record of what’s already been done. People provide for other people, but do so at their mutual benefit. Using violence or silly claims of divine right to something doesn’t make these mutually beneficial transactions happen. Only reasonable calls for goods and services and equally reasonable trade for the same is the only way to have anything provided: period and end of story.
Down here in Miami we have good Universities. I have never heard of anything even close to Austria.
Look man…dont get me wrong, so far I love this guy Mises, but I am tired of philosophy. I found about Austrian Economics because I knew something was wrong about our Monetary system. To me it was fraud and casino business, I just needed back up.
As you can see it was real Economics that brought me to Austrian Economics. And when I am done readin Human Action and the other books I already bought I will only record in my brain REAL stuff like I have done so far, not philosophy.

If so, how is that any different than telling a non-dying man that his business went under because of lack of foresight? It may seem cruel, but truth is truth and holding back the truth is a terrible crime. Also, all economic transactions come at cost of Nature as nothing is a free lunch. Then steer clear of Austrian economics. We like our philosophy and take it seriously, from methodological concerns, down to ethical questions which preoccupy political theorists amongst us

Why should I? What “free market” is doing that? The non-existent one? The hampered one? No. I’d tell him to thank the government for it. In an actual free market, I’d tell him to get voluntary aid, like the Friendlies I mentioned. Would you have the guts to enslave me to the needs of various nondescript individuals, forging obligations to others I owe nothing to? Apparently yes. BTW, these are very philosophical questions. Funny, because you want none of that.

You know, I like that people who are uneducated about AE find this site and ask questions. After all, at one time we all were in those shoes. But when the answer is given, why do so many insist on ignoring it? Of course we are speaking of philosophy, because it is philosophy that determines world view, and thus, the ‘real world’. Sadly I feel that all the effort so many people have put into these posts has been a waste of time, Cesar has been indoctrinated by the system. Its so funny that these people chose to ignore the elephant in the room, refusing to believe that something so simple can be the answer. In nature, the simple answer is most always the correct one. AE and our philosophy demonstrates this, though Cesar will never get it.
