What’s the best university in New Hampshire? I’m thinking of doing a PhD in politics or history. (I live in Australia at the moment). I think the FSP is a great idea, and if critical mass is achieved then some real changes will come about. New Hampshire could be an example for the world.

I’m quite familiar with NH. The best university there is undoubtedly Dartmouth but from what I’ve heard it’s full of marxists. UNH is the biggest school there. It’s close to Portsmouth and Dover which are both full of free staters.

This project is NOTHING like marxism. The point is to establish a large presence of liberty-minded people (who could be anarcho-capitalists and voluntaryists to Ron Paul republicans and classical liberals) in one state so we can have more influence. NH already has some of the most pro-liberty policies (low taxes, low regulation) in the entire USA. Most activists refuse to work within the system anyway and focus on agorism and outlaw business. The keeniacs do civil disobedience to draw attention to unjust laws, for example.

OK, so mentally we achieve liberty, but what about the system? It still exists. Even if we all stopped paying taxes the state would still find a way to extort money form us. What can we do together to fight the state?

EDIT: By the way, I couldn’t care less about what the government said it was or wasn’t going to do. They have a poor history of respecting FSP activists and they’ve done arrests over the most moronic things imaginable. Maybe the stoners in New Hampshire have secure enough livelihoods that they can afford to spend a few weeks in court or jail for arguing some petty political point like wanting to pay city taxes in pennies or wanting to film a cop. Good for them. I’m sure they’re probably living successful and fulfilling lives.
Also, political evangalism isn’t my style. I’m not going to leave the comfort of coastal California so I can go kick it with some hippies in the middle of nowhere and stack elections.
