it was hidden…there was an article on it much later, there was some testimony…but it was still a conspiracy theory for most people…
10 years ago…most of it was finally declassified…and it finally became conspiracy fact.
Are there other things that have gone from conspiracy theory to conspiracy fact?

Bilderbergs and the Bohemian Grove -the former is all too well known and the latter was (is?) a rather secret meeting place of elites in the forest north of san francisco.

I have researched a lot about Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission, but it’s nearly impossible to know what they’re agenda is. New World Order has been mentioned at the most 5 times over a span of 3-4 decades by individual members, but in my opinnion I don’t care - it doesn’t change my view of government one single bit.

It may be wrong as a scientific theory though.
In my opinion their agenda can’t be too far from social democracy -probably just an extreme variant mixed with (I’m not kidding) pagan rites and owl worship.
Even if gov. was good, these guys are reason enough to watch your back.

The conspiracy was that leading climate scientists knowingly falsified their data sets, presumably for political reasons.
Anyone suggesting as much prior to the publication of those leaked emails was branded either a “conspiracy nut” or a “shill for Big Oil”. But it ended up being true.
Well, in that sense, I agree.
The most blatant and offensive conspiracy theory to become fact is the political means.
The Dreyfus Affair.
An innocent Jewish man was wrongfully locked up on charges of conspiring with the enemy to conduct a criminal action against the state, while the actual guilty man walked away with him and everybody involved in the case knowing full well who did it, but getting to lock up a man, just because they hated him for being a Jew. Publicly he was humiliated as a guilty man, while many speculated, without hard evidence, that he was wrongly condemned. Years later, letters and papers confirm the deliberate conspiracy to imprison an innocent Jewish man.
A chilling reminder of the abhorrent anti-Semitism that once existed in Europe and perhaps whose vestige still exists.
As von Mises wrote, the Dreyfus Affair was proof of how so many villagers, lawyers, tradesmen, magistrates, postmen, district officials, and other common people were all willing to pin some false charge on any Jewish neighbour of theirs, just for how much they hated him.
