If anyone saw the newest episode of Futurama, they base the whole thing around Dr. Farnsworth’s ancestor during the revolution was making fake paper notes. They travel back in time to prevent him from destroying the economy with paper money. There are tons of good jokes about Franklin womanizing and drawing satanic (masonic) stuff of his paper notes and Jefferson smoking weed. Revere has a few lines about the “Sons of Liberty.”
Paul Revere and his silver led to a few jokes that have Leela stealing silver cause they all know that the paper notes aren’t worth anything. They burn the paper notes towards the end, but it ends up preventing the revolution because they confues Paul Revere into riding his horse in the wrong direction.
It was a pretty good episode. Did anyone else happen to catch it?
