gametheory and hobbes

Hi,

I’m currently writing a research paper for my philosophy class and have to express Hobbes’ “Leviathan” in games, especially prisoner dilemmas and assurance games and compare his theory to others. Now I’m wondering if someone could give me some hints on where to check. Currently I’m focussing on Gauthier, but there might be something more interesting I’m missing as well as good criticism on this topic. Any help would relly be appreciated and maybe you can also link other essays related to this topic you know of. Thanks in advance!

The intro to this edition of Leviathan has some game theory analysis in it.

Jan Narveson’s contractarianism was heavily inspired by Gauthier’s work. See his essay “Gauthier on Distributive Justice and the Natural Baseline,” in which he articulates his criticism of Gauthier’s theory.
