Does anyone know of a water distillation system that you can hook up to supply your entire house?
So all the water you use…sink, bath, fridge, etc will be distilled water?
Or is that a pipe dream?
Trying to get rid of the fluoride in your water?

of course…along with all the crap in tap water.
I’m no plumber, but distillation is a highly energy-inefficient (expensive) process for cleaning up water. You are probably better off with a whole house filtration system. Why not call a plumber? Just to ask questions, you know.

I think a friend of mine and I might try to build a distillation system. Sort of like the old big copper ones used for alcohol.
Some minerals in tap water are beneficial. It’s the crap the state puts in the water that’s terrifying.
True, but I can get my minerals from food and other sources…I don’t need them in my water…
besides, pure distilled water tastes great…
and like you said, the state puts crap in it anyway…and that stuff is only coming out with distillation or reverse osmosis.
