Great video, thanks for posting. Does anyone know more about Hernando de Soto’s economic beliefs. I’ve heard his name many times and I know he’s squarely in the pro-market camp, but would he be properly described as a moneterist?
He has written a book called The Mystery of Capital about property rights in third world slums, and how crushing bureaucracy prevents the rise of capitalist enterprise. (It takes about a year worth of labor to register a business in Haiti, for example.)
