Hi, everyone. I’m a new forum member, so let me start by saying hello and that I’m pleased to meet you all.
I was wondering if somebody could help me track down a certain Mises media clip. I made a note to myself (a month or two ago) about a Thomas Dilorenzo video I had watched, and am now unable to find. The main issue that I recall was a discussion of Hamilton and Jefferson’s differing views on the public debt. He also mentions “applied economics” near the 21 minute mark, if that helps.
I could be wrong about it being Dilorenzo, but that’s what I have written down on my notepad. Also, while I was searching earlier, I found a 2006 audio clip of Dilorenzo being interviewed by Jeffrey Tucker where these same ideas are mentioned.
I searched the blog and Mises Media pages, but can’t seem to get a match. This must have been a fairly recent media file, and I’m pretty sure it was a video clip. Still, the few video clips of Dilorenzo’s I found in the Mises media search seemed to be either too old or were solo lectures. I seem to remember it being an interview video clip, or a more recent speech.
Am I imagining this clip? I know Dilorenzo has written articles on Hamilton vs. Jefferson, so it’s strange I can’t find this file.
