My Uncle is a 10th grade history teacher; earlier in the year during the election time all of his students were jumping on the Obama bandwaggon as most of america was doing so aswell.
My Uncle gave his students a test over one of the chapters they had recently finished, the next day the students came in to see their grades.
The smarter students in the class had lower grades then they were use to, while the slackers in the class had higher grades. For the most part, all of their grades were about the same, only differeing by a few points at most, between a 70-75.
The students were puzzled, and all my uncle said was “This is called socialism, you dont like it very much do you?”. He later corrected their grades, but I thought this was an awesome teaching lesson.
