How do I make the transition to the next stage?

Hi there!

I’ve been into AE for quite a while now, and I’m quite sure of my economic theory. How do I make the next step? That is, move from economic theory into reading and analyzing real world economic data and phenomenon, in a comprehensive way. I would also like to get advise on important readings on finance as related to economics.

I’m looking out for some kind of a detailed reply, with a plan of suggesting readings(which I can cover in the next one year).

Thanks!

You should probably read Meltdown by Tom Woods, if you haven’t already. Also try Peter Schiff’s books. They apply the theory to recent economic data.

Try emailing Bob Murphy or Mark Thornton. Both seem to do a lot of analysis of “real world economic data and phenomenon”. I’m sure one or both might have some suggestions for you.

Thanks, people![:)]
