Are the words freedom and liberty at the very least seen by the general public as good words anywhere in Europe? Do people see a difference in equality/ freedom? Sometimes I wonder in here if the words freedom and liberty could ever take on negative meanings, the words themselves though still hold a positive value to people though. Are the words “luddite” or “fabian” seen as a positive words with the majority (or very significant minority) in the UK?
Also as far as Europe is concerned, Ireland as far as I know has grown more free in the past decade. Does anyone know what the general feelings of the Irish are due to there new found freedom?
