If man acts purposefully to rid himself of dissatisfaction and render himself in a state more desirable does that mean he is always in a state of individual conflict.
Well, he is always in a state of less satisfaction than he could be. No matter how many luxuries you have, you could always use more.

You don’t have to think your situation is bad to think it could be better. Nor do you have to even be thinking about your current situation to think about bettering your situation. You continue your cable contract not becuase you dont have cable now, but because you do have it, and want to keep it; better than an alternative.
