A chapter a day seems like a bit much. Have you ever tried reading that crap? That said, I might be interested in working through it and trying to figure out what the hell he’s talking about.
Past the first three chapters it’s cake. I’ve been through all of them before yes. It’s fairly simple to understand, it’s about on par with an AP Chemistry high school course, maybe a bit easier.
Although, I will make an exception for Chapter 1. We will NOT cover Commoditiy Festishism at the same time as Chapter 1. I’m very bad at explaining it, and it’s a very in-depth subject. A comrade of mine has written out a very nice summary of it that I shall post when that time comes though.

Marx broke with Hegel before writing Das Kapital though, he admits to “coquetting” with Hegel’s method, which is a nice word for mocking. Marx really isn’t that difficult to understand I don’t think.
Who are you? Why do you think you’re that expert in Das Kapital to assume everybody wants to read your explanations? There’s a lot of good stuff around the internet about Das Kapital. It would be cool to discuss the book here in a community forum, in a multilateral way, but if it’s just sit and listen to your lessons, it is not good.
Marx is mostly philosophy with some attempts at pretending to be about economics thrown in.
I’m willing to read it, I have volume 1 on hand from a class that I took.
Actually, just about everything out there about Marx is wrong to be frank, even the more popular read along Das Kapital things like David Harvey, who rejects the labour theory of value (though I don’t like calling it that and we’ll see why later).
If you want to understand Marx, you should read Marx yourself. This reading series is in order to help motivate people to actually do that. You can read a Chapter a day then we can discuss them all together.
I would disagree that Marx is philosophical at all, in fact he has this to say about philosophy. “The philosophers have only to dissolve their language into the ordinary language, from which it is abstracted, in order to recognise it, as the distorted language of the actual world, and to realise that neither thoughts nor language in themselves form a realm of their own, that they are only manifestations of actual life.”

To say that Marx is not philosophical is absurd, frankly. Again, I’d like to hear what you have to say and maybe learn something along the way.
That definition itself is philosophical and non-sense.
You can not “find” truth. Truth is a quality of a statement, you are misusing language.
If you’re curious, I’m pulling from a Wittgensteinian standpoint.

I said quality of a statement. If you could find “truth” you would also be ale to find “false,” since “false” is the opposite of “true.”
I think an easier way to frame it would be to say that you cannot “find” yellow. Certain things ARE yellow sure enough, but you don’t say you “found” yellow.

Of course some chapters are longer and more difficult than others. Maybe instead of just doing the chapter-a-day thing you should break it up into more equal parts. You know, do some planning.
Such as: Ch. 1.1-1.3, Ch. 1.4, Ch. 2-3.2, Ch. 3.3, Ch. 4-6, Ch. 7, etc.
