The law of supply and demand applies for tickets as well no matter who sells them. Ticketmaster is no master of anything. It obeys market forces just as everybody else.

Not the fan trying to rid of his ticket because he can’t make it. So very often, ticket Master is actually selling tickets way below their market value, which is why you have sellouts in a matter of minutes or hours.
