I need to sell my book collection. I guarantee you won't find these books any cheaper.

I hope this isn’t considered spam. I am in the process of moving out of my house and going totally off the grid therefore I’m trying to get rid of as much stuff as possible. I’m more interested in sharing these books with others who I know will make use of them rather than cashing in. All I am asking is $5 for most books plus the actual cost of shipping which is probably $3. Of course, if you want to pay more for a book to help me fund all my expenses of going off the grid I won’t turn you down. All books are in AT LEAST in reasonable used condition and some in near new condition.

I don’t have a list compiled yet but here are some pictures to give you an idea of what I have. I probably have around 1000 books in total. Many of my books are older are not easily available. The topics are broad: economic theory, anarchism, constitution, the revolution, roman history, greek history, federalism, NWO, conspiracy, etc. etc. etc. If people show an interest I’ll compile a list. ID LOVE TO SELL THE BOOKS IN LOTS AND WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO WORK WITH YOU ON COSTS AND SHIPPING.

If you tell me what you are interested in I can respond with the books on have on that topic.

I’d be happy to give my phone number via email or take specific pictures of any books. Respond here or email me at rmcc4444 -a-t- gmail

Thx..

Holy crap, I am filled with envy.

WTF?

What is confusing?

THAT is the room of a real man. I wish I had that many books.

It’s not a collection bro, that’s a small library!

Now is your chance to add to your library CHEAP CHEAP. I don’t know anyone else selling Rothbard and Mises books for $5.

I wish I could make an offer, but I have way too much on my plate with school and way too many books on my to-read list already. Good luck with going off the grid, though! I think that’s really cool. Hopefully something I’ll be doing when I’m older.

^I have pretty much the same problem as Brian here. I’ll consider it.

Thanks. I think we all know that this economy won’t hold up so when the everything goes to hell I’ll be as mobile and self sufficent as I possibly can.

I’ve been researching off the grid living for the past couple of years and am now ready to make the move. I have a decent RV (that looks just like a small apartment on the inside) that I can hook up at a camp site and use their electricity, sewage, etc. or if I need to get the fk out of dodge I can power nearly everything in the unit with the solar system I’ve installed. Some people think I’m going to live in a tent when I say off the grid. My life will be similar to how it is now. I have running water, AC, shower, toilet, internet access, TV, etc. The only downside I see is the small size.

Mine is similar to this one.

No problem. Whatever I don’t sell, I’m going to donate to the library. Before doing that, I’d hope I’d be able to get the books in the hands of people who would really value them instead of them collecting dust in some crappy library.

Interesting idea, but why sell your books? I mean don’t you want to read while your off the grid? You’ll have the books when you come back onto the grid. I could never sell my books.

I’ve read all of them and space will be at a premium in the RV. I’ve decided that I’ll keep 20 and whenever I purcahse a new book, I’ll have to get rid of one I have. It’s def. a sacrifice but I think it will be worth it when everything comes crashing down.

Do you have For a New Liberty? I just gave my copy away, I’m considering buying another.

Out of curiosity, what is the main reason your doing this? Are you going to isolate yourself from the rest of the population?

I’m definitely interested and would love to see a list. I have a pretty big reading list, but it can never hurt to have the books around. Are you selling Man, Economy, and State?

Yes I do.

I’m not trying to isolate myself. I’ll just be moving from my house into an RV park about 15 miles from my current house. I’m keeping my job, friends, etc. Everything will pretty much stay the same.

The main reasons I’m making this change are:

1 - I want to be as mobile as possible so I can dissapear to wherever the most stable place is when everything comes crashing down. In the meantime, I’ll hook up my RV at a local campground for a couple hundred per month.

2- The increase in monitoring and tracking innocent people via Fusion Centers, NSA, DHS, etc. has gotten to a point where there are very few things I can do without it being stored and trended in a database somewhere. Living off the grid allows one to be much less visible. Ive switched to a pre-paid mobile phone that costs $50 / month for unlimited calls, text and data and I don’t have to sign a contract. I pay using pre-paid VISA cards from Walgreens or Wal-Mart or wherever and never have to give anyone my ID. The same thing goes for the campground or RV park. I pay in cash and no ID is required. The WIFI internet access is free at the campground I’m planning on moving to and I’m switching email addresses, user ids, etc. so all of the crap the NSA and DHS is monitoring in the name of “national security” won’t be tracked back to my ISP account. When I’m on the road I’ll use Virgin Wireless’s new $50/month unlimited internet access plan. As long as I can get cell phone reception I’ll be able to get on the Internet. That will also be paid for monthly using a pre-paid VISA card.

3 - Living off the grid for a few years will allow me to save up a tremendous amount of money so I can eventually buy a nice piece of land out in the sticks and build a house where zoning laws aren’t enforeced so I can have my own garden, solar power my house and basically just get back to basics of being self sufficent and off the radar off this insane thing we call govt.

4 - The government won’t allow anyone living a “normal” lifestyle to live free, so I am doing everything I can think of to live as free as possible. I want to walk the walk of a free man not wake up one day when I’m 80 and wonder why I sat idle and did nothing.

5 - I want to document my journey and eventually write a (free) book on what works, what doesn’t work and basically how I was able to live as a free man in an fascist country so others can do the same if they so choose.

Yup. $5 plus real shipping costs. I’ll get a list together w/in the next few days and edit my first post. If there are other books you want as well, I’ll decrease the price the more you buy.

I am willing to put down for Man, Economy, and State right now. And Theory and History.

Ok.. Just shoot me an email rmcc4444 a-t- gmail. I cant get to the post office tomorrow but I will go on Friday and let you know how much the total is. $10 plus whatever the actual shipping will be.

It says the email is not recognized. If you can email me at jonathan.catalan(at)gmail.com, I’d appreciate it! (As a poor student, this is exciting.)

EDIT: Nvm, sorry.
