central bank of my country (Bosnia and Hercegovina) has requested 1 billion euros from IMF. I looks like IMF will “give” them money, which I don’t like.
What I want to know is what will IMF request in return? I hear that they usually request restructuring of economy, pay cuts, pensions cuts etc. Does anyone knows? Is it possible that this would actually be good for this country that has great problems with huge birocracy and public sector?
The loan will be great in the short term for a few well connected polytrixters and their families and friends. In the long run though it will likely be bad for the country as a whole.
The borrower is always a slave to the lender. These loans come with many different types of strings attached, different for each shituation, which will likely make your country lose some of its soverignty and become dependant on the aid.
The programs that the IMF will likely try to create with these loans don’t currently exist for a reason, good luck maintaining them.
Yes, the official term for this “restructuring of the economy” that the IMF uses is “Structural Developments”. Now a days the IMF and other world government institutions are centered upon implementing what is called UN Agenda 21:
It’s all through the deception of environmental needs. A well known application of this Agenda is the Carbon tax in which the world government institutions will collect their income off this tax and further grow their income/theft to become ever the more autonomous. This all means more loss of sovereignty of individual countries and thus individuals around the world.
