Is there some kind of government form that shows exactly how much money in subsidies specific companies/individuals receive each year? I’m in the middle of debating this kid who says FDR giving out money to farmers to not grow crops wasn’t a conspiracy, it was just part of FDR’s amazing economic plan to raise prices. Annoying. I can’t debate people anymore because it just pissed me off.
Anyway, it just got me thinking about another assignment I have to do for this website, and I’m going to talk about sugar tariffs and corn subsidies, but I can’t find government forms/documents to make it at least seem legitimate.

Where is the dispute? FDR’s farm supports (which were a continuation of Hoover’s) were implemented to increase prices.
Sorry. I may have worded it in a confusing manner.
It started when a friend and I were discussing S510, and I said that stopping people from growing home gardens is the government’s way of making sure that, if food/agriculture prices get too high, people don’t use the cheaper way of growing their own food in order to protect farmers.
Then the kid butted in and told me to stop being a conspiracy theorist, and I explained FDR’s subsidies, etc. Then he told me that the subsidies weren’t a conspiracy, just part of FDR’s economic plan (which is true, but he didn’t understand raised prices for farmers because he doesn’t understand anything about economics), and I was trying to explain to him that farm subsidies were literally a conspiracy between the government and certain farmers, which was to give them an unfair advantage over those who didn’t want government help.
