In this instance lets say the state doesn’t exists and movie producer makes a movie. To prevent some random guy from selling his movie could he put a disclaimer at the beginning of the film stating that by watching you this film you putting yourself under an unwritten contract claiming that you cannot reproduce the authors work without his permission. Would something like that have any legal weight?

Yeah lol that’s the only flaw I guess in this model is that it would be hard to enforce or if you manage to catch someone, how do you prove that he saw the disclaimer.

Correct. So technically the person who removes the disclaimer can only be charged since he would had to have seen the disclaimer in order to remove it.But I dont know if that would carry any legal weight since he technically didn’t sign anything.I can only liken it to going into a store who has their store policies on the door.
