Yeah, I’m in Johannesburg now. I spent the past couple years in the US and UK, but I’m back in SA.

Thanks for the pics, HR. I have a fascination with South Africa, its history and politics etc, and I’d like to discuss soooo many things with a Misean. Soo where to begin?? I guess I would like to know more about the private security industry there. Not sure if you seen Louis Theroux’ documentary on crime in South Africa, but I found very interesting.
I think that Africa is in fact the closest thing to seeing what a free market would look like in real life. Ofcourse therese government intervention, more so than Westerns nations in some areas with things like BBE in place. Order is emergent, and it will emerge provided that the state doesnt intervene. However because South Africa has a week government at present this has led to a gap that the private sector has filled with things like private security companies and other areas where the government has failed. I think that the government is gaining in strength which is bad for those who want to achieve a stateless society.
Would you agree that South Africa is the closest thing to what a free market would look like??
