Was there anything JFK stood for that wasn’t as fiscally conservative as the tyranny of the majority would allow?
IIRC, Ike started the Vietnam war; here are JFK’s achievements, in his unfortunately short presidency:
Wrote a bill to get rid of the FR
Lowered Taxes for everyone IIRC.
supported French social views–supported civil liberties in every way I can think of, plus I don’t remember hearing he was for any restrictions on firearms.
I’d say he rivaled Grover Cleveland, and surpassed Thomas Jefferson (as President, not as the Founder); I just previously found it impossible to think that the 2 most libertarian presidents were part of the Democratic Party. of course, there could be something I’m missing. Let me know.
His family was largely responsible for defeating Prohibition, and I don’t think FDR would’ve done away with it, if he hadn’t been pressured to.
JFK at least would acknowledge that wealthy families are only virtuosly so when they break a corrupted law to help every individual, whereas neither his brother, nor the Roosevelts, nor the World Bankers, nor the Rockenfellers would ever acknowledge (or if they did, then they wouldn’t admit) that they’re happy because they took advantage of legalized socialism. Kind of sucks that the Rockenfellers aren’t capable of realizing their wealth largely came from a socialist government, and that they’d be no richer than the average person if someone hadn’t already done most of their work for them.
