Yeah, the thing about mmo’s is that they are designed to keep you playing as long as possible and really do a number on perfectionists who HAVE to complete EVERYTHING.

You want me to find a deleted blog post? I dont recall dates but its happened a couple times this year. I will see an entry that is ‘next’ in the blog, click on it, and its not there. Using google to search for the blog entry (the cache wont show the whole post) I can see that nearly all were his posts. There was another post that wasnt his (dont recall whos) that had some 9/11 Truther stuff. Usually the DiLorenzo posts that are deleted seen to be him shooting off about some one, calling them names.
Sorry, but I really don’t care what she thinks about what I should be doing with my time. If she doesn’t like games, so be it. None of her business what other people do with their time, whether it’s “productive” in her estimation or not. As if we live only to produce. Must be some bizarre Calvinist mentality.

Many more exist. In my opinion, these are tactics employed by statists, and most often by leftists. No, I do not want LRC to be one big happy, joy joy site; however, simply calling a person a moron does not win an argument. I prefer to see substantive content (with a little cynicism and sarcasm thrown in), not the ridiculous emotionalism that litters Marxist and right-wing blogs.
I love LRC blogs but I wish they would stop with the name calling and ‘cute’ nicknames. (gunverment, obamessiah etc.). It really makes them look much less credible.

Plus, I’m of the belief that polite debate is a waste of time, it’s the militants who seem to get places. Besides, how can you politely ‘debate’ anything with people who not only claim, for example, that our current financial crisis is due to a lack of regulation, but also that the banking industry is a free market? It would take a year or more to list all the state and federal regulatory agencies with oversight and powers over banking and finance. These people are either willfully or blissfully detached from reality to such a severe degree that a debate with a street schitzo as to which pope he’s really talking to would be more productive. Such people don’t deserve politeness, especially after one or two polite attempts to bring them around to reality are made. They deserve derrision and abuse, nothing more.
I see giving those kind of people abuse and whatnot is a waste of time also. I mean what does it accomplish besides possibly giving you an ego boost that you told someone who you were unable to communicate with that he’s an idiot? Working on communication skills is a much better idea.
Libertarianism doesn’t mean you have to be a nice guy.
I can only imagine what Kinsella and others go through when it comes to statist ‘arguments’. Just from being around my friends and casually browsing the internet, I can easily find enough moronic posts/videos/comment to seriously challenge my sanity.

I can sympathize with those who don’t have the patience to refute the same, obviously flawed statist nonsense 10x over, or for those who don’t have the patience to reply civilly to those who clearly haven’t read their books on the topic.
Can you imagine how frustrated one could get? It doesnt necessarily excuse such lowbrow behavior, but I can’t honestly say I would do any better in their position.

6 is my favorite with 7 being a close second. I enjoyed 8 mostly because I was able to relate to the main character so strongly. Though I do think the game dragged on for too long. I never even finished it because I got bored somewhere in disc 3.
