The Wii Fit is a joke. If you want to get in shape without spending too much money, I suggest:
- One pair of decent running shoes.
- One pair of crappy running shorts.
- A couple crappy white t-shirts.
- A couple boxer briefs or sports bras, depending on your gender.
Then you start running and doing push ups.
You do not even need the shoes. I never wear shoes when I run. All you need is clothes and a grass field.
Seriously one of the most relaxing things ever. Not being sarcastic. Running is how I sort my day out and deal with my shiz.
Now this is just wrong. Planescape: Torment is the greatest RPG ever. (If I must be constrained to a JRPG, then Chrono Trigger.)
Wii Fit is made that so that normally lazy people get interested in the idea of working out. It was never sold as the ultimate weight loss program and anyone who thinks it was is too quick to throw judgements. Nintendo is a video game company- Wii fit is a video game. It still manages to make people who never ever work out have a reason to sweat.
Anyway Video games are awesome- and anyone who doesn’t think so probably has a very very dull personality or is too scared to try anything new. I mean how do you just hate an entire genre? I never hear people say that all movies or story books are a waste of time, and games actually get you engaged a million times more thanthose.
I think that almost every (modern, popular) movie which has been produced is a complete waste of time. And I also think that almost every video game which has been yet developed is a complete waste of time. Incidentally, I, via my experience, think that StarCraft may be one of the only worthwhile video games which has been yet developed.

Ya, that would be great. But I require extensive medical care for my knees to be able to run again, and the government won’t give it to me, or even let me forego the ownership of some of my assets to allow me to receive treatment. I miss running.

Im playing the Metroid Prime Trilogy collection for Wii. Just finished the 1st and wow!! What was already an awesome game just got better with the Wii controller and widescreen option. Now starting MP2 Echoes.

I have to say I do not understand this criticism. “Tactics”? This seems to be the activist mentality rearing its ugly head–is everything about tactics and strategy? How about truth and accurate analysis? Are you saying these people–such as Glenn Beck–are not morons? Or, that even if they are, one should not say it?
I hear you guys, but what is lowbrow about calling a moron a moron? What is wrong with calling a spade a spade, evil evil, wrong wrong?
Look how activist minded this comment is: as if all that matters is helping the movement, advancing the cause–as if truth itself is to be measured in terms of success and how successful an argument is.
I’ve lost many friends due to my libertarian beliefs. I’ve always thought of them as being incredibly stubborn and un-willing to backup their argument with hard cold research but not moronic. Most people, Glenn Beck included, develope a comfortable idea of how the world works and abhor the idea of someone bursting their bubble of blissful understanding, no matter how much of a fairy tail it is. You see this in liberals and conservatives alike. Glen Beck is no different. Untill people are willing to give critical thinking a try they will always be stuck in this state, regardless of their intellectual competency.
I agree that calling Glen a moron is inacurate. I think the following terms would be more acurate.
Liars, Deniars, Stubborn, fearful, statists or beleives in another moral philosphy like marxism or socialism.
I think Glen is one of those people who more accurately fit in either of the following two catagories.
A) Liar and Deniar. Knows exactly what he beleives in and diliberately denies the possibility of freedom, even if it means being dishonest and turning a blind eye to truth.
B) Is stubborn and or fearful of the truth and will do everything in his power to keep himself in his bubble so that his understanding of the universe is not harmed.
Thats just my own humble opinion.
