There was an audio on mises.org where an old friend of Mises described him and his seminar in NY as well as what Mises thought of .
I can remember only one vivid part where walks into the seminar and stares at the back of this guys [mises’ friend] head because he won’t acknowledge her appearance. Mises tells him “she is no philosopher” and at the end of the talk there is a Q & A
