I’ve just discovered my “Scholars Edition” copy of Man, Economy, and State (the original red cover, not the current “chessboard” one) is missing pages 717 through 764. Anyone else have a copy with those pages?
I assume you’re asking if anyone else has a physical copy with the same defect, yes?..because of course if you need immediate access to those pages there’s the pdf version here.
(And don’t forget the study guide )
Yes, I have the PDF. I also have a physical copy of the previous (2001) edition of MES, which is why didn’t notice the missing pages in the later edition until now – I only read the P&M section, after reading MES in the older edition. I was looking up a page reference in another book, which happened to fall in the middle of the missing section. The spine isn’t wide enough to accomodate the missing pages, so I’m wondering whether all copies are missing those pages, and if so why nobody had said anything about it before.
Mine is not missing the pages, so yours has a printing defect.
Hmm. Bugger!
Dont’t worry. It probably makes it more collectable.
