Metal prices fall further than during Great Depression

I just thought many of your might find this piece of news interesting:

"The price of key industrial metals has fallen further over the last four months than occurred during the worst years of Great Depression between 1929 and 1933, according to research by Barclays Capital. "

Now I think everybody will see what a bloated monstruosity our economy had become in the past years.

For awhile there the US 5 cent piece looked like it was going to be the next junk silver. Then again maybe it still will be.

This recent rally in the dollar is suppressing all commodity prices–IN TERMS OF DOLLARS. Depending on what currency you look at, metal prices are actually up in the last 6 months for many (like Australian dollar, Euro, British Pound.)
