I took the opportunity to buy Hülsmann’s biography of Mises. $8 off the original price is sufficient to make it worth it to me.
That’s what I’m saying. 20% is no joke, so I browsed the store for something to pop out at me, but nothing has so far (hence I’m here fishing for recommendations).
Grabbed Hazlitt’s, “Thinking as a Science”.
I was going to buy a T-shirt, but could not decide in time.
I was thinking of Hazlitt’s The Foundations of Morality. Probably that and Sechrest’s Free Banking.

Bought the Mises and Rothbard shirts in the store. Almost bought the bowtie. Would’ve bought books but I have enough on my hands right now.
It was sweet because each shirt is $12, but you get 15% off if you buy two, and 20% from the sale. Saved 8 bucks.
I ended up getting a book and the coffe mug- I dropped mine and shattered it literally the day before the sale.
So I go from “I can fix anything… Where’s the duct tape?”
to “End the Fed”- about the same as I see it
I bought 2 DiLorenzo books: The Real Lincoln and Hamilton’s Curse. I also bought Hoppe’s Democracy: The God That Failed. It’ll be so fascinating to contrast that book with Mises’ pro-democracy, pro-liberal-nationalism stance in Nation, State, Economy.
I got Human Action, MES, The Enterprise of Law, and the Libertarian Forum. Should be great.
I missed out on the sale, unfortunately. Are they going to do this to celebrate the birthdays of any other famous Austrian economists (Hoppe, Rothbard, Hazlitt, etc)? 20% off is pretty epic, if I do say so myself.
Picked up Time and Money by Roger Garrison and Stock Market, Credit, and Capital Formation by Fritz Machlup
Unfortunately, I just don’t have the money to buy books at the moment, so I had to pass. If I had the cash, though, I would have picked up Benson’s The Enterprise of Law and Cantillon’s Essai.
The Enterprise of Law is fantastic, but Benson’s To Serve and Protect: Privatization and Community in Criminal Justice is AMAZING.
I finally got Theory and History. Time to dig into the methodology of everything, finally. D:
