Mises Chats

You cuss like a girl

Yes, I am a sexist pig.

I think that the relevant question here is whether or not we’re officially internet bullying SM yet

Screw “officially”, we are subjective indivisualists here! Err, forget “we”, I am

Somehow I feel the golden age of this community has long passed. Alas… :stuck_out_tongue:

It was a Gilded Age anyway.

You do realize this entire thread is tongue in cheek, right?</out of character>

The true face of the Mises community has revealed itself. You wenches are violating the NAP, hypocrites!

Which property of yours have we violated?

Yeah, which one?

@abskebabs

I agree, although I believe that it’s up from what it’s been at certain points in the past.

Well you violated…you…you…

Watch half the users on this board actually be Mises faculty :stuck_out_tongue:

How immature.

Wow. I come back from vacation and…can someone point me to where this snafu started?

I think it’s the beginnings of an internal rift in VR… we have the Youthists and the Anti-Youthists…

“Can’t we all just get along??”

Clayton -

Largely my own un-pc opinion, but I think it was before the time of you young pups :P. I would put it from around the middle of 2008 to late 2010.

@ Andris Birkmanis

How is my South Park response any more immature than these lies circulating around regarding my age?

@ Lady Saiga

It all started on Mises Chat.

It’s obvious to any mature person - your response is immature just because of the age of its author

Who are you supposed to be, Captain Picard dispiriting Wesley Crusher?

I didn’t get on these forums until end of the year 09, but I remember the material generally being of the highest quality at about early/mid 2010.

Something very fundamental to these forums died when Liberty Student opted out.

Other heavy hitters on this forum (Esuric, Stranger, Wilderness, hayekianxyz, Isaac, Student) have stopped posting as time has gone on.

This is the true cancer that is killing mises.org

Edit

Also I’ll be on chat for a while

I’d agree with that list but would add a few further honourable mentions.

Let’s not forget Esuric, Jonathan Catalan (though he still blogs) and nirgraham uk (occasionally pokes his head round here). I could list more actually (note you cited Student twice! Economistintraining and Neoclassical were also interesting members of this forum, think I could go on and on with such a list…).

I’m glad Clayton’s stayed around. That Andris Birkmanis fellow seems not half bad either :stuck_out_tongue:
