Lets vote on the most cliched response to less/no government arguments (add your own):
“If there is no government, who would build the roads?”

God I hate this one.
When I say that no one should be forced to live under the government if they dont want to:
“So what is to stop someone from killing your family and then saying they dont have to follow any laws?”
The thing that makes me mad is that they always say these things smugly, as if they really believe we haven’t considered these most basic questions in formulating our beliefs. If they are genuinely curious then its one thing, but it often seems like people just think I am calling myself an anarchist just to seem “edgy” or something like that, and that I haven’t actually put any thought into it.
But the corporations will become too powerful.
Yes. McDonalds, Microsoft, Colgate, Honda, and Geico will send you to death camps and starve children.
What those people don’t realise is that corporations wouldn’t exist under AnCap, or at least would be take a form dramatically different then what exist today.

My response now is, “so you do not think the tyrant should just stop being a tyrant?” Then they get pissed and say that I believe in chaos.

one of my favs is the whole “I’m a democrat /socialist at heart/ I hate capitalism but I don’t really know much about economics” yet they insist on having opinions on the matter.

I believe in capitalism, i wouldn’t have the things i have without it, i wouldn’t be able to live the type of life i do. However, i believe that govt. should invest in its most valuable assets, and those assets are not the top 5% of the wealthiest, those assets are not useless wars that cost trillions and 4,200 US lives and 150,000 innocent iraqi lives… those assets are right here at home with the middle class

Whenever anyone brings up the “chaos” word, please describe how many thousands of cells make up the “government” and its “public sector”, and how many thousands of disparate aims they have, and how poorely they are lead, coordinated and feed-backed. The most chaotic organization in the history of mankind, is certainly the public sectors of governements today! It’s a chronical “grab all you can get”-situation for all mini-popes with the right conenctions. Contrast that with how extremely smoothely unregulated capitalism has created global standards, and constantly accelerating productivity gains, in areas such as electronics.
Corporations would still exist. And that’s a good thing. imo corporations would eclipse the state in influence and provision of services. i image dispute resolution, schools, unemployment insurance etc would be run by corporations, and obviously much better than any socialist institution
