So i visited the Barnes N Nobles in Roseville California to take a look at Tom Woods’ book Nullification. The system showed 5 in stock but they were no where to be found. I looked all over myself and failed to locate it. It seems like they really don’t want people reading this information. Hopefully it was just a computer glitch and all the books had been sold.
Who is John Galt? Just kidding.
Seriously though, who is they? The powers that be? I wasn’t aware that their long arms could dictate book store policy. Any concrete evidence or just speculation?
Or is it Barnes N Noble? How would it profit them to carry it and not sell it? Or how would it profit them to mislead its consumers?
“they” are the little ideologues that work in their stores.. I see them hide books they think inappropriate all the time…
I never factored that in. Suppose management found out about it? ![]()
Then again, they might share the same sympathies.
