Since my economic knowledge is still lacking, I request certain insights regarding this recent development*.* Therefore, if anyone here can pull off of a Esuric-esque post, it would make a great addition to my study notes.
I’ll break it down for you in simple terms:
The crooks want more money.
What, specifically, are you looking for? It is a redistribution scheme. No different than anything tried in the past. The wealth generators in the economy will be forced to transfer more of what they produce to those who the “government” decides should have it. The scheme will have the same effect it always has: Less available for investment in capital, less productivity, lower living standards. The government can only redirect this wealth to activities that will not produce wealth. If these government subsidized activities did produce wealth, private capital would have been directed there in a free market. (This is not Esuric-esque, and I’m sure someone will take issue with my points, but I’m guessing this is the kind of discussion you’re looking for.)
I’m aiming for meticulous essays that I can use as a study guides. Hopefully they will come in handy with MES.
I highly value gaining an economic understanding of social justice, and even more so within the context of this current event.
Getting warmer.
Say you have some money in your pocket. It’s your money. Being unenlightened about social justice, you foolishly think that you should be able to keep it, to do with it as you please.
“But what of the starving wretched bleeding dying masses?”, says a cop, pointing his gun straight at your heart.
“What about them?”
“You have to support them. And I will decide exactly how much you have to give.”
“But it’s my money, not yours.”
“But I have the gun.”
“But that’s robbery.”
“Welcome to social justice.”
It’s really that simple.
More correct version: Obama wants to steal money from poor individuals indirectly by taxing businesses that supply these individuals things. Similarly, taxing people making over 200K per year will reduce employment opportunities for people making less.
ERGO all of these taxes are aimed directly at the lower classes in society. And guess where the money goes:

FDR wanted huge taxes on rich people… but obviously income inequality exacerbated. This is because following the law and paying taxes is for chumps. Like me.
I always knew he was a Marxist fascist.
