He was debating with Cavuto and screaming at the top of his lungs that “this just isn’t right what these guys are doing to people who can’t pay back their loans!”
And then said that there needs to be a “leader” that will step in and tell the industry what they can and cannot do and possibly fire people – in his words: “get them outta there!”
And then he’s like “this isn’t regulation… it’s just watching.” Or something to that effect. Yeah? And what will they do if they see something while watching that they do not like? Regulate and plan, of course.
I can’t remember what Cavuto said, because I couldn’t stomache the conversation… but he did bring up the New Deal. Nothing was getting through to Bill O’Reilly that this was government caused. He was trying to play “fair and balanced” to show how compassionate he is. He’s on the right-wing, but he’s also against free markets! Great!
I think that is true about TV. Though the funny thing is that this clip is probably on youtube and gets him more exposure that way. Though, it seems that there is really no on-air meltdown that he can’t recover from professionally. That’s pretty impressive!
I actually saw the Peikoff and O’Reilly showdown on youtube. Scary stuff.

Yeah, O’Reilly is quite sensible by comparison. I liked the Obama-O’Reilly episode too. Obama tried to out-neocon O’Reilly. A lot of bloodthirsty people out there.
