I am currently an undergraduate with en economics minor. I want to get a Master’s Degree in Economics from Auburn University, but I do not know how to finance a graduate degree. Any suggestions?
Scholarships, loans or your parents’ money.
well thanks, but i was looking for a more specific and practical answer. my parent’s money isn’t an option, and i can’t pay back loans and be knee-deep in graduate work at the same time.
Don’t go to Graduate School. You don’t need a Master’s to become as equally qualified through experience.
There isn’t another way then, you can’t expect to get money if you can’t pay it back, I don’t know what to tell you…
The only other way is scholarships or taking stolen money from the government
“TruthEqualsTreason”,
If you can, please, take stolen money from the government. We need all the Auburn-trained economists we can get.
There are tons of ways, I just don’t know how to access them. Fellowships and things like that. Nvm. I also wouldn’t qualify for government aid even if I did agree with it, because I’m a white male who’s parents are still alive.
I think your a little off on qualifications for this…
I have 3 friends that are white, male, parent’s are still alive, and they have financial aid for school.
Fellowships, scholarships, that sort of thing if you can.
I attended an Austrian economics seminar at FEE and Boettke more or less said if you’re paying for graduate school, you’re doing it wrong (my words, not his). Pretty much that if you’re paying for graduate school out of your pocket, you’re out of the loop that’s associated for people who get fellowships and the like. He even went so far to say that it’s better you go to a lesser school that will pay your way than a better school that you have to pay out of your pocket for because even though it’s a lesser school, you’ll have some more success because you’re in that loop of people who get funding.
Hopefully that makes some sense.
