I get what you’re doing, but I do not agree that is a useful way of going about achieving the goal of persuading people. I elaborated on this (and illustrated how Rothbard shared my sentiments on this) in this post. I do not agree that it is advantageous to “concede” a point that you actually do not believe to be valid, or to pretend you agree with something you don’t simply because you think it will help someone listen to you. There are other ways to get that result without essentially lying.
And I’m not sure you fully appreciate the point about the implications made by saying things like we need to “pay for tax cuts”. I elaborated on this quite extensively in this post. Especially in the final paragraph.
