It would be good if you guys could tell us how these services, if they exist, fare up with public body services.
Waste Management, although it’s more of a “private-public partnership.”
Duracell. They make batteries. Private solar panels on top of private homes.

Actually, something interesting would be private roads. What the roads built in new housing developments considered: public or private?
I can only answer in a very general way. Why is it that all gov’t activities are also monopolized? They want to run a post office, fine. But why make it illegal for anyone to compete with them?
We all know the answer. Without the monopoly, they wouldn’t last a week. Because someone else would without question do a better job.
