Property Rights as a Recreation of Government

Thanks for suggesting the Kinsella piece. I enjoy his work.

I did find the first use principle to be kind of arbitrary… It is objective in that it will work provide a definite resolution as to who owns what property every time; I think this is why Kinsella chooses it. It is arbitrary in the metaphysical sense because the definition of “first user” is not equivalent to “owner”, where i’m assuming owner means the person(s) who have control over whatever property.

I think I’m preferring the Rothbardian approach that was mentioned in another recent thread.
