To debunk is to expose falsehoods, once you actually expose said falsehoods (that is, show why and where they error, not just call them names) you will have debunked them. You simply disregarded them because they are inconvenient.

ponder that, and please no more ridiculous and irrelevent quotes from obscure ‘authorities’ – rather think for yourself and provide your own argument. MOreover, if you use empirical evidence, provide a summation in your own words of the pertinent points.
I’m not going to simply think up history for myself. It may “work” for you but I like to be under the influence of facts and other mischievous things.
