Is the cent
Is the central bank of England (CBE) as bad as/does it use similar policy as the FED? What about other banks in the world, et cetera?
All central banks are inflationary, but the Fed is way worse because the Dollar is (was) the worlds reserve currency.
All central bankers believe they can manipulate interest rates and the quantity of money in order to achieve “full employment,” economic growth ,and increased stability.
They all acctively try to manipulate exchange rates to encourage/discourage imports/exports depending on what they determine is best.
If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, and talks like a duck … it is a duck.
If one central bank is bad, so are the rest.
Can anyone go in to more depth on the CBE? How can I relate the American FED to our own central banking system? How much has the value of the pound gone down in the UK and since what point exactly was the central banking system established? What is English monetary policy, how does it compare with US monetary policy, etc.
Cheers.
