Regulators using egg recall to push support for tyrannical 'food safety' bill S.510

I like that the article discusses the problems with the bill, but would you agree with this statement?

“he billion-or-so egg recall fiasco that took place this summer is a perfect example of the failures implicit in modern, industrialized agriculture. But rather than respond to the situation with concerted efforts to reform Big Agribusiness”

Somehow, when he uses the word reform, I do not think he is referring to the subsidies that keep some of them afloat.

I’d agree with the statement. I also know why agriculture had grown up the way it has.
