Maybe if we put a 2.00 tax on all gasoline right now nobody will lose their jobs and we can hire all the current unemployed people to do highly skilled labor to completely renew our failing infrastructure.
Yea that sentence about rounding up the unemployed to build bullet train railways made me double take.
It’s a typical Michael Moore posting: one that is littered with appeals to emotion and assumes no unintended consequences of the ‘action’ he wishes his ‘right man in charge’ to carry out. It is also left to the reader to determine who the ‘we’ is that he refers to.
Krugman allegedly claimed that he’d love to see a depression in his lifetime to be able to tinker around with it.
Obama said after his nomination for presidential candidate that this might be the day the planet started healing.
Now Moore is fantasizing about a world war on climate change, fought with green-o-drives from his headquarters in Flint, Michigan.
